Honda got it

Honda got it. They’ve got IT. The car Human wants, the car we want, the car every sighthound (and other dogs) want.

Introducing new friends

We are happy to introduce Frost and Dinar to y’all. Frost is Teo’s cousin from Team Farytail, and Dinar is Djilál’s brother from Ain Zafir.  You know Djilál already from previous posts. Frost and Dinar are living together – fortunately not too far from us. They are crazy and funny kids. The kind we know and love 🙂

LC-trial , Sweden

Friday Human and our favorite auntie Rox took us, Azaar and Bahij for a long drive. All the way to the south of Sweden and lure coursing. The entire event was a challenge. Both for hounds and humans. The only thing we will say is that if we never have to compete in Skåne again that’s fine by us. We’ve been there twice now and both times there has been “situations” which kinda spoiled the event. And – it’s way too far. Also, the field this time was not good. To say the least. At least for us. Sethar pretty much describes how we felt about the coursing field in this pic (haha, needless to say he had more important “things” to attende to in the second heat):

However, Azaar and Bahij, our fab sloughi friends, did really well. Bahij got CCC on his first LC-trial, and Azaar can now proudly add N SLCCH (Norwegian Swedish Lure Coursing Champion) to his title.  Hurray!

Teo was placed as #13. Sethar, for obvious reasons (see picture above), didn’t do quite as well… 🙂

Finally! Spring!

After a looong cold winter we are happy to announce that spring has arrived. Everywhere around us people are sneezing, having problems breathing, battling allergies. But not us! We welcome every little fragment of pollen with love! The snow is gone, even though Human thought it impossible considering the enormous amounts of snow that covered everything. So here are our first spring pictures. A selected few. You can see more of them here and here.

2nd best lc-whippet!

Last Saturday this year’s national lc-trial took place. Both Teo and Sethar was competing for fame and glory, and once again Teo showed off his skills as a natural born champion lure hunter.

After the first heat he was second best whippet, and in the final heat he was placed together with the whippet with the highest score. Teo got the highest score in this heat, but not enough to take the lead. He was 0.25 points short. Also the winning whippet did a great job, and they came all the way from Sweden to compete so we were happy to see them win!

Anywoof, we are very pleased with the results!

Sethar also had a good day on the field. Although his attempt was more “carefree”. At least he was having a good time…and came in last 🙂
